Hartley's Swimming Pool
Hartley's, Benenden is a large residential property complete with swimming pool that was suffering from damp issues within the roof void above the swimming pool outhouse building.
MNE Building Services Ltd were appointed on behalf of the insurance company to undertake an inspection to ascertain whether or not the condensation issue was being caused by lack of ventilation or a defect in the installation of swimming pool ventilation.
MNE undertook mechanical calculations including determining the level of evaporation from the indoor swimming pool to validate whether the existing installed swimming pool plant was fit for purpose. We produced a report of our findings and recommendations for remedial works to help alleviate the damp issue.
