One of the most famous squares in London, Eaton Square was developed almost 200 years ago by the Duke of Westminster, whilst developing the Grosvenor Estate. The square features a mix of Grade II listed houses and apartments, overlooking the private garden squares.
Two of the 6 storey homes have been refurbished, including the original mews houses to the rear of the main dwelling.
MEP works on the properties included strip back to shell and a full new design, complete with hotel type MEP services inclusive of smart controls for the HVAC and lighting services. We are also working closely with the interior design team to ensure subtle, but effective tempered air distribution from over 40No. concealed fan coil units across these properties.
To deliver compliance with Westminster City Council’s planning conditions, we designed the position of external plant in a number of smaller heat pump units to sit below the parapet line, as opposed to a single larger unit, which would have breached the conditions.
