DP World provides infrastructure and trading solutions, holding freeport status in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. One of their many departments is Border Control, where the company handle incoming and outgoing containers and undertake checks. 

MNE were appointed to design the required modifications to the existing MEP systems at the existing border control post. This involved new large scale chilled areas for the inspection of food produce. Services included access control and security for the restricted areas, LV distribution, small power, lighting, refrigeration, ventilation and energy services.
